Lamb Weston French Fries Styling

This project has truly pushed the boundaries of my skills as a food stylist.

Lamb Weston is one of the world’s largest producers and processors of frozen french fries, waffle fries, and other frozen potato products. Landing this opportunity with such a brand giant was no small feat, especially since they sought someone with prior experience in styling French Fries. Luckily, my portfolio boasted some of the most enticing images of French Fries, that perfectly aligned with the creative director’s discerning taste.

Working alongside the French Fries guru himself, the creative director proved to be both exhilarating and demanding. The meticulous attention to detail required in arranging the fries and constructing various shapes of piles was incredibly time-consuming and tricky.

The director’s vision was clear: each fry had to be positioned just so, with no two facing the same direction. Achieving this level of precision took considerable effort and dedication, but the end result was well worth it. The client was overjoyed with the final images, which were promptly used for print sell sheets to showcase Lamb Weston’s products in food service environments like bars and restaurants.

In this project, I was also commissioned to craft ideas and recipes for the food service environments the client desired for each shot.

In addition to the French fries project, we photographed Lamb Weston’s entire product line against crisp white backgrounds. This ensured that each item could seamlessly integrate into catalogs and other marketing materials, further enhancing the brand’s visibility and appeal.
